OUR TOP TIPS
Always read the care label. This will tell you exactly how to care for your pieces.
Not sure how to read care labels? Check out our common questions below.
Washing less can prolong the life of your pieces while saving energy and water.
Try to resist washing if you’ve only worn a piece for a couple of hours. Instead, you can try hanging your clothing outside and brushing them off to freshen them up.
Spot clean stains to prevent washing the whole product.
Air dry your clothes to reduce creasing, avoid shrinkage and save energy! Try to avoid using the dryer if you can.
Dryers can often damage your clothes and wear out the fabric. They also use unnecessary energy.
DENIM
If you wear your denim lightly, consider washing these pieces less frequently, and air them out between wears by hanging them to keep them fresh. When your denim loses shape or feels uncomfortable, it’s time to wash them.
When you wash your denim, try turning the item inside out to help preserve the colour.
COTTON, VISCOSE & LINEN
Wash your piece in a cold wash to prevent shrinking and air dry on a hanger to help the piece keep its shape.
KNITWEAR
Knitwear can be kept fresher for longer, so we recommend wearing your item as much as possible before washing.
When you’re ready to wash, we suggest handwashing the piece as knitwear can be quite delicate.
Lay your item flat to dry to prevent stretching and to keep the item’s shape.
SWIM
We suggest hand washing your swimwear after every use to get rid of sunscreen, lotion, oil and pool chemical build up.

WHAT DOES COLD WASH MEAN?
On most washing machines, you can adjust the water temperature for your wash cycle. For a cold wash, we recommend a setting of 30°C or lower.
END OF LIFE
If you’ve lost your initial love for your pieces and are ready to part ways, try and give them a second life before disposing. Keep the bin as a last resort when other options aren’t going to work.
Donate - check if your friends and family are interested in any of your pieces or find these items a new home at an op-shop. There are clothing collection sites scattered across Australia where you can drop a bag - just Google “Charity Donation Bins”!
Resell - list your piece on an online marketplace - you could find a willing buyer who’s going to love your item.
Mend & Repair - To preserve the longevity of your clothes, consider small alterations, like sewing on buttons, repairing seams, or patching small holes. If you're unsure how to do it yourself, try a professional tailor or seamstress.
Upcycle - try out a little DIY and upcycle your piece into something new. Got an oversized tee you no longer love? Try cropping it. Not a fan of your jeans anymore? Cut them into a denim short. If your piece is cotton, you can even cut it up to use as cleaning cloths around the house!
