HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR DENIM
WE GET IT, DENIM CARE CAN BE CONFUSING. CHECK OUT OUR FAQS BELOW
HOW OFTEN SHOULD I WASH DENIM?
To maintain your jean's quality and longevity, spot clean them with a damp cloth or mild detergent for minor stains. If you wear your jeans lightly, consider washing them less frequently, and air them out between wears by hanging them to keep them fresh. When your jeans lose shape or feel uncomfortable, it's time to wash them.
HOW DO I WASH MY JEANS?
- Check the Label: Always read the care label for specific instructions.
- Spot Clean: For minor stains, gently spot clean with mild detergent.
- Inside Out: Turn jeans inside out to preserve colour and finish.
- Cold Water: Use cold water to prevent colour fading and shrinking.
- Gentle Cycle: Select a gentle cycle on your washing machine.
- Mild Detergent: Use a mild detergent suitable for dark colours.
- Air Dry: Lay flat or hang jeans to air dry, avoiding the dryer.
- Reshape While Damp: Smooth out wrinkles and reshape while damp.
- Wash Less Often: Only wash when necessary to prolong your jeans' lifespan.
CAN I PUT JEANS IN THE DRYER?
Please follow the care label for specific instructions regarding drying your jeans. Due to the heat in the dryers, there is a risk of jeans shrinking, and high heat can also cause fading and accelerate wear. To minimise potential damage, we advise using a low heat setting when using a dryer, or preferably opt for air drying your jeans.
